I was born in California but have lived in the Texoma area for most of my life and currently reside in Bonham.  Also, I have been in education for 16 years.  For the past 9 years, I have taught various science courses at Sherman High School as well as served as the head of the science department.   I have many interests which include singing, playing the piano, camping, cooking, barrel racing and family fun.  I have traveled throughout the U.S. singing the National Anthem at rodeos as well as barrel racing and performing on a drill team.  I have retired from traveling with a drill team but continue to ride and barrel race as a hobby. My family includes 2 boys that are 24 and 17 years old and my little girl is 5 years old. She will proudly start Kindergarten as a Sam Rayburn Rebel this year!  I believe each child has a purpose and a gift or talent that is unique to them. It is my hope that as a teacher I can play a small role in helping to develop their strengths and help them set and reach goals throughout the year for their future. I am proud to be part of the Rebel family!
